This is a great old vintage Selmer Paris post-Soloist “scroll shank” series mouthpiece for the tenor sax. Made in the 1970s just after the Soloist, and featuring the same scroll pattern on the shank and horseshoe chamber, these pieces have a bit less baffle behind the tip than the earlier Soloists, and thus have a warmer sound with less bite. The piece shows typical oxidation around its shank, as seen in the photos, and light playing wear around the beak/inner chamber, but nothing more than cosmetic wear. Tip and rails are original and in tremendous shape. The piece is stamped with the larger F facing and measures .093”. Comes with its original 2 screw ligature and metal cap.
