This is a vintage hard rubber Selmer Soloist series mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This is one of the long shank Soloist pieces, produced in the 1960s, with a horseshoe shaped chamber. There’s mild playing wear/discoloration around the beak, but no major playing wear. Just typical scratching and whatnot. The tip and rails are original and in very good shape with no nicks or deep scratches. The piece is stamped with the traditional C* facing, stamped on the table, with tip measuring .074”. It comes with a standard 2 screw ligature (stamped simply “France”) and its original Selmer Paris cap. The lig and cap show a lot of finish wear but are still usable.
