Product ID: SelmerDSSTenorDC
Vintage hard rubber Selmer Soloist series mouthpiece for the tenor sax. This is one of the earlier (50s vintage) “short shank” Soloists. The piece was originally a D but has been opened by MOJO (Keith Bradbury) and is now in the E-F range, measuring .088”. The mouthpiece is in phenomenal shape, showing typical oxidation, mostly around the shank as seen in the photos, but no major playing wear to speak of. The work on the tip and rails is very clean and the mouthpiece retains its original rollover baffle, something you don't see on the later vintage Soloists.
