Wood Stone TM-1 #8 for Tenor Saxophone in Silver Plated Brass
This is a very nice TM-1 8 for tenor saxophone by Ishimori Wood Stone. The mouthpiece shows some normal cosmetic wear from past play time and ligature placement. If you look very carefully you can see a couple of small wear spots beyond the edge of the tip rail.
These are very cool pieces. Their inner construction has some resemblance to high baffle pieces ala Guardala. Its beak features a long beak slope with a hard plastic bite plate. The shank is intentionally cut pretty thin and has a hard rubber ring covering.
The tip opening of this mouthpiece measures a traditional 8 at .110”.
