Yamaha YTS-23 Tenor Saxophone – Raw Brass with Fresh SQ Overhaul, Serial #010848A

This is a very sweet playing Yamaha YTS-23 tenor saxophone, serial number 010848A. The tenor has a striking look to it, featuring a raw brass body, neck and key work. It recently received a mechanical restoration in our shop and is now in perfect playing condition with all new pads, resonators, corks and felts. This saxophone is now in perfect playing condition. Ships with a good case. 

 

Traditionally the Yamaha 23 is a great choice for the serious saxophone student. Their great pliability and solid build are very appealing to the player as well as any savy band director. This particular tenor is a highly exceptional instrument in its own right. It has a rich free blowing response across the entire instrument while providing a smooth feel under the fingers. The scale on the horn is nice and balanced, projection is outstanding.  

 

Because this one is a good player with recent restoration and raw brass finish it is a more ideal choice as a secondary tenor for the professional. Or anyone who is in need of a quality saxophone for a lower price.
